Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 10, 2026

envynet ("we", "us") provides a commerce and marketing platform for retail brands: point-of-sale and online-store data unified in one dashboard, email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, a two-way customer inbox, and AI-powered assistance. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit envynet.com or use the envynet application.

Information we collect

How we use it

We use information solely to operate the platform: synchronizing merchants' commerce data, sending the communications they compose to their own customers, powering AI features they invoke, sending push notifications they enabled, billing subscriptions, and securing accounts. We do not sell personal information.

AI features

envynet includes AI features: an advisor that answers a merchant's questions from their own data, a campaign copilot that drafts marketing content, and an optional customer assistant that suggests or sends replies in the merchant's inbox under limits the merchant controls. To provide these features, relevant excerpts of the merchant's data (for example sales figures, product names or a customer's message) are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, as a data processor. AI usage is metered per account. Merchants review and control AI output; AI-generated replies are labeled in the inbox.

Email & messaging communications

envynet sends communications on behalf of merchants to their own customers over three channels: email, SMS text messages and WhatsApp. Messages fall into the following categories:

Consent (opt-in)

Marketing messages are sent only to recipients who have given prior express consent — for example by signing up on a brand's website or at checkout, or by texting an opt-in keyword such as START, YES, SUBSCRIBE, JOIN or OPTIN to a brand's number. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

Recipients can stop receiving messages at any time: reply STOP to any SMS or WhatsApp message to unsubscribe (or reply HELP for assistance), and use the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email. Opt-out requests are honored automatically. You may also contact the brand directly or write to us at [email protected].

Phone numbers collected for SMS or WhatsApp consent, and the associated consent records, are used only to deliver the messages described above. They are not sold, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention & security

Data is stored on access-controlled infrastructure, transmitted over TLS, and retained while the related merchant account remains active. Each merchant's products, customers, images and conversations are scoped to their own account. Gallery files are served through unguessable URLs; listings require the merchant's session. Merchants may request export or deletion of their data at any time.

Third-party services & processors

We integrate with the commerce services merchants connect — Shopify and Clover today, with additional platforms rolling out — and we use the following processors to provide the Service:

Delivery providers receive only the data necessary to deliver each message (recipient address or phone number and message content) and process it under their respective terms and data-processing agreements. Where merchants connect their own provider accounts (for example their SendGrid or Twilio keys), those providers act under the merchant's direct agreements with them.
